Thanksgiving Menu

  • Ham - cooked and sliced ahead of time, then simmered with orange/brown sugar sauce - less fiddling.
  • Scalloped potatoes - less fiddling
  • Slow cooked green beans on the back burner, with bacon/dash of a good salad vinegar - less fiddling
  • Cranberry/pineapple/walnut gelled salad - made ahead - less fiddling
  • Home made dinner rolls - made ahead of time - less fiddling.
  • Chocolate/mocha homemade pie - less fiddling
  • Pecan pie - ahead of time - less fiddling
  • Last minute - REAL whipped cream
  • Wine, so we can fiddle the afternoon away.

We'll have a toddler (and parents) at our house and I want to spend time with those folks -- not cook!

  4. Don't you just love the party! I want this Thanksgiving thing over here! I also loved your 6 things you are Thankful for and I'll give you one of mine-I'm thankful (and excited) that you have me on your links. That has made my day-and if I could work out how to do it, I'd have you too because I love the way you think, you have a very youthful, 'real' outlook.

So you can add that to the nice things said about you if you like1

  5. Thanks Tracey, for your very kind words. We have to get your E-Mail, etc., on your page, and your links, when possible!

If you pull up your template, poke around, until you see something like
I tried to copy/past the html code from my template to here, but Blogger won't let me !!! That would have been the beginning of the links. Right after that is where the links will begin, but I don't even see any sample links on your site, as I have/had in mine. Another way, you can view other pages html code from their page, by clicking on "View Source" .. to kinda get the feel of how a page is built, but you cannot change anyone elses (duh!). You can always "view" a change, without "Saving." Try the Help pages available on BLOG -- I could only digest one tiny "help" at a time when I started. You have LOTS of others wonderful thing in your life - I'm amazed you can get so much done outside of blogging!

Good luck - if you get your E-Mail posted on your page, then we can all help you more directly!
