I am a quilter - a recently-retired woman living with my husband in the Nebraska Panhandle. We are surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies. We are located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.

Men get a little cold, they're at death's door. Women get pneumonia/bronchitis, they are supposed to ignore it and keep on truckin' so the men & kids are not inconvenienced. Good thing we're a tough lot.

Hello "E"......Yes, I'm a character for sure. The "cold" thingy was right on the target. Men are such babies sometimes. Loved your piece on curved piecing. I use to sew curves before I knew any better....LOL...Have a great Mother's Day weekend.

Thanks for the laugh! Both DH and I have THE COLD! DH has had his for a week longer but he is sooo sweet. He is taking care of me! He is pretty special.
