I am a quilter - a retired widow living in the Nebraska Panhandle. I am surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies, located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.

Book Overloaded
'SOMEONE' out there in Blogland is responsible for this! I will graciously thank you for mentioning this Internet site, www.hamiltonbooks.com, but my checkbook may groan, although only a little.
My word - I couldn't push those buttons fast enough, and today my order arrived - 6 quilt books for $67.00, plus about $5.00 S & H, all new books. Three of the books are art quilt books, and three are technique, but ALL are in color. The big art quilt book on top left, has 500 pages! I do believe they have books on other subjects ... but I didn't even look. You cannot view the inside of the books on this site, but I already know what they'll be like - delicious! I am in hog heaven!

Oh what fun!!!! I love getting new books!
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, I'm grinning with guilt, here in WI..LOL but you know the best favor you can do for a friend is to share a really good thing...and Hamilton Books is definitely a GOOD thing....*VBS* Glad you tried it, sounds like a couple of other gals did also. I've yet to be diappointed and I've been ordering for over a year. The books also make great gifts!Hugs, Finn
ReplyDeleteThe book store doesn't ship outside the US which is just as well. I had a 'little' spending spree at FabricShack and Quilters Quarter the other day. Eagerly awaiting the parcels now. Lovely quilt too.
ReplyDeleteHave just taken a look. Good job they don't ship outside the US otherwise I'd be in serious trouble with the bank!!!! Notice there is a Clearance Sale $1.95 and up.
