I am a quilter - a retired widow living in the Nebraska Panhandle. I am surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies, located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.
What a wonderful photo!!ReplyDelete
Hey this is great! Did you go to bed that night? I know you were still up when I finally called it a night. :-)ReplyDelete

Thanks for dropping by my blog. I've had yours bookmarked but not commented, so want to tell you your blog is looking good! I like string quilts too and have two big bags of fabric ready to become something. You have inspired me!
Interesting color combo in this photo, including the creamy vegetation in the foreground.
I envy your country life... was born and raised in southern Alberta on a farm, and notice how the colors and landscape still affect my choices!
