THESE ARE TOOOOOO CUTE!!!!
These are all 6 inch finished blocks. Remember, there are also the same instructions for 12 in. blocks, plus additional suggestions and instructions for numerous other beautiful and cheerful projects. Now, on to the sashing, then the 112 flying geese border.
So ... if I chose just one block and made 12 of the same block and made them in 12 in. size, they would go much faster..... mmmm
I am making a combination of 6" and 12" blocks and will do an original layout. I'm not sure I would have liked making all of them in 6". Some of those pieces were pretty tiny and fiddly. I'll be looking forward to seeing your quilt all together.
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks, especially the flowered chicken and sheep, too cute!!! Your quilt is going to be gorgeous! Happy New Year to you from Iowa
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are great. Congrats on finishing them.
ReplyDeleteThose really are cute blocks! A long time project is always good to have around!
ReplyDeleteI did a quilt of just the 12 inch chickens.
ReplyDeleteWas a lot of fun to make.
Very cute ! What a great finish. Not sure about all the border piecing tho (makes me shudder). But you are so close to a completely finished quilt, it will feel wonderful putting the binding on.
ReplyDeletelove it. my quilt is going to have the 6 inch blocks but i am not making all of them. just ones that pertained to our farm. they are so fun once you start/
