I am a quilter - a retired widow living in the Nebraska Panhandle. I am surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies, located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.

What is that?
This is "Little Bit" - a garden gnome, who, under all that snow, carries a lantern that lights the deck. I was awake at 3:00 am, pooh-poohing the weather people because there was barely a dusting of snow on the trees, but a few hours later, -- oh my !!! 10-12 inches. We will be staying home and indoors today.
A BIG "thank you" to neighbors, especially Sean, for his serious snowblowing.

We wouldn't have gone anywhere the last two days if it were not for neighbors with BIG tractors with plows on the front.
ReplyDeleteThe gnome looks really cute peeking out from his wintery blanket.
Little Bit still looks happy! Thanks for the chuckle.
ReplyDeleteMy friend Ellen and I admired the as-yet unopened bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream perched on the chocolate shelf in her studio. hmmmm!
