The center is turning out to be a large space - I can see where it may improve with being broken down into smaller triangles.
I am a quilter - a retired widow living in the Nebraska Panhandle. I am surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies, located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.
This is turning out nicely! Lots of bitty pieces no matter which technique you use?
ReplyDeleteThis looks great Elaine. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to follow your diamond progress. It looks very good :-)
ReplyDeleteYour diamond star is incredible! Is this from a pattern or a book? I haven't see it before.
ReplyDeleteThis is coming along beautifully. I really like where you placed the dark colors so they ring the center section. This will be a stunning, eye-catching quilt when it is finished.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great. Just the project for paper piecing. I have only tried samples of paper piecing and didn't really like it but when I see this piece I may have to rethink the whole paper piecing thing.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to you found me so I could find you. :) I'll be back regularly now. Diamonds, huh? Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - I LOVE it! And I love that africany looking fabric in the center. It is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! I'm SO glad that I found my way back to your blog this morning. I can't wait to see this one done!
