I took liberties with the center and made it into a pinwheel. That Pincheel coloration was my 4th !!! version. The previous 3 versions just didn't "do". Note the similarity to my previous blog post, an October BOM - same pattern, different values.
(Somewhere in my stuff, I found this perfectly usable design board. Yeaaa!)
Nice!
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHaving been absent for a bit, I had to go back and look at the previous post to see what you were referencing. I like that idea for a guild BOM. Maybe because I love mixing up value placement from what a pattern tells me to do. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love my design boards. I make them in many different sizes and don't know how people get along without them.
I've been tempted to "do" BOM classes without indicating which colors or values to use - i.e., just provide the outlines and finished size of a slightly more complex block, and see what develops.
