I am a quilter - a retired widow living in the Nebraska Panhandle. I am surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies, located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.
I'm so glad someone took the video and shared this... it brings great joy to my heart every time I watch it. Wonderful voices too. Thanks for posting it.
I too would have liked to have been there. Hubby and I used to play music around town in our younger party days. He had a sweet lady at a deli counter in a local grocery that he really liked to tease. She did not know me at all. So we played a trick on her and all the store shoppers. I came in and got a cart and pretended to be just another shopper. He came in with his guitar and serenaded her. Then he started walking around and was trying to get other shoppers to sing with him. None tried until he came to me! Well, of course we burst into our songs and blew them away for 10 minutes or so. It is a very happy memory of our former musical days. happy Holidays to you!
