I am a quilter - a retired widow living in the Nebraska Panhandle. I am surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies, located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.

You Protect Me, I'll Protect You
This one has an open area to slide in any sort of additional protection. I still had narrow elastic.

Good job, Elaine. I have been meaning to try making one with the opening for added filtration material, but still haven't attempted it.
ReplyDeleteGood for you - and what a great name for the post! I have made 12 now with a few more to make next week (elder son works at a hospital and we need masks for when we go out). I used a design from JenniferMaker (free) that includes a removable filter layer (I adjusted her design - sharing the details in my blog post tomorrow).
ReplyDeleteI too like the title of the post. You look quite stylish while you are protecting me!
