I am a quilter - a retired widow living in the Nebraska Panhandle. I am surrounded by beautiful semi-arid ranch country, and treeless hills and fields under incredibly wide blue skies, located far from the upheaval found often in large towns or cities. I am blessed to have delicious time to quilt and to appreciate my peaceful moments in an unpeaceful world.

Picket Fence
Of course, a fence has vines climbing all over. Excuse that my fence is facing downward. Looks like it needs some birds or butterflies in that unquilted space.
I couldn't WAIT to get started on this one! THis quilt turned out to be about 84" x 98" -- MUCH larger than planned but ... kinda like a garden - you make one bigger each year until the garden is in control! LOL

Such a nice border. Just in case you really decide to, it will be a perfect garden with birds and butterflies. I love your quilting ideas.

I like that twist on a piano key border. The sparkle of white adds a lot to the edges!
ReplyDeleteI have to say...I love your quilt! Just love it, and your quilting too!
